After reviewing your CV and application, shortlisted candidates will undergo an initial phone interview with Eben Haeser, Senior Seed Solutions Executive (featured on your right).
This is a chance to discuss your interest in the role, your experience, and what motivated you to apply so we can get to know you a little better.
Suitable candidates will then be invited to complete a short online sales questionnaire.
This helps us understand your sales experience and strengths. If you're successful, the insights gathered will also be used to tailor future sales coaching to support your growth.
This is a more in-depth conversation with Eben Haeser, Senior Seed Solutions Executive and Ahmad Subagio (featured on your right), Director of HR.
Together, they’ll explore your sales experience in more detail, discuss your approach to relationship-building and industry challenges, and get a sense of how you think.
They will be interested to understand who you are beyond the CV and to ensure there's strong alignment between your values, ambitions, and Verdant's culture.
Held either in person or online, this interview will be with Ahmad Subagio, HR Director and Mark Burton-Brown, Sales Growth Coach (featured on your left).
It will focus specifically on your sales capability and tactical strengths, particularly how these translate into the commercial agricultural sector. This step is designed to explore your practical approach and how you’ll contribute to Verdant’s growth in the market.
Your final interview will be in person at the Verdant Plantation Science Center.
You will be invited to come and spend the day meeting the team, having lunch with the Directors, a tour of the facilities and plantation, so that you have clear expectations about the working environment and who your colleagues might be.
This will be the final check to ensure mutual fit.
The interview process is about bringing your potential & best self to the surface and also ensuring that you also assess that the role is right for you.
Firstly take a step back and think about your strengths. What has set you apart and what do you think you do well.
Reflect on your experience; what do you think makes a great relationship & sales specialist and what qualities do you possess.
What experience can you draw on that will highlight your sales and networking approach, what impact have you made in your previous roles .
Consider what you need; what type of leader, team and environment have you felt the most comfortable in; why? Have questions prepared to ensure that the opportunity aligns with your needs.
